In today’s episode, I open up about a time in my marriage when I questioned if we were going to make it. Today I share the different reasons I ended up in this space and how I worked through it. The reason for my vulnerability is to encourage you to keep going and find ways to get through it. Also, give yourself peace, patience and forgiveness as you seek help and heal through this season of marriage.
- If you’re struggling in your marriage it’s great to rehash where you were and are, then how you got out of it and remember the good that can come from the bad. (5:11)
- One way to work through a survival season is to recognize the problem, write it down, talk to your spouse or a counselor to help process what’s going on. (8:13)
- When you are ready to give up, take time to cool down, focus on yourself, and choose to not leave and give up before then. (11:54)
- Inside our heads we create a narrative of he never, she never instead of focusing on what he does, she does which stifles out the good. (16:22)
